Teens Lose Control Of ORV In Avilla

AVILLA – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a Personal Injury Off-Road Vehicle Crash that occurred on August 8, 2017 at approximately 6:47 pm.

Noah Huguenard, 17, of Huntertown, Indiana was operating an off-road vehicle with a passenger on private property along the bank of a pond when he lost control of the off-road vehicle. This resulted in the off-road vehicle overturning on the slope of the bank, ejecting both Huguenard and his passenger into the water. Both individuals were able to make it safely out of the water.

Huguenard was transported by Parkview EMS to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana for treatment to his left leg.

Huguenard and his passenger were both wearing helmets.

Indiana Conservation Officers were assisted by the Noble County Sheriff’s Department, Avilla Police Department, LaOtto Fire Department, and Parkview EMS.
