AVILLA – In the October Restore Avilla meeting, President Todd Carteaux announced that over the past few months, Restore Avilla’s focus has been on closing and acquiring a property on East Albion Street, known as Magpie’s (formerly Julie’s Place). With the possession of this parcel, Restore will be donating the building to the individual who is investing funds to obtain the land and the building. The remainder of the property is intended to become Restore Avilla’s pocket park project.
To find out more about the pocket park, please plan to attend Restore Avilla’s next meeting on the second floor of the St. James Restaurant at 6:00 p.m. on November 13th. Read more about Restore Avilla’s meetings and updates here.
