City of Kendallville Citizen’s Academy Grad Ceremony

City of Kendallville Citizen’s Academy is offered once a year and is a free program, open to any Kendallville resident who has an interest in city government, how it serves its residents, and how a community of informed residents can improve the city.

Each participant of the program is required to attend at least 7 sessions in order to graduate. Sessions include covering departments and subjects such as:

• Airport
• Building/Planning and Zoning
• Cemetery
• City Attorney
• City Council Reps
Clerk Treasurer
• Downtown Business Assoc.• Economic Improvement District
• Engineering & GIS
• Fire Department
• Kendallville Area Chamber of Commerce
• Mayor’s Office• Parks & Recreation Department
• Police Department
• Redevelopment Commission
• Street Department
• Utility Departments
