Impact Institute

KENDALLVILLE – Impact Institute is happy to announce that we are celebrating 50 years of educational service.

Formerly known as the Four County Area Vocational Cooperative, Impact Institute was founded in 1969 by ten area school corporations. In 50 years, we have grown to support six counties and thirteen school corporations. This growth sparked the need to change our name in 2013 to Impact Institute.

We currently serve more than 600 high school students and over 600 adult students seeking their High School Equivalency (HSE). We offer fourteen Career & Technical programs including Automotive, Auto Body Collision Repair, Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), Construction Trades, Criminal Justice, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Health Occupations Education, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing,  Interactive Media, Marine Mechanics, Precision Machining, Primary Health Care, and Welding. Additionally, we offer Career Training Certifications to adults wanting to advance.

We are thankful for communities and partners who support Impact Institute in its mission to impact lives and create college and career ready students.

We would like to invite community members to join us for a fun celebration on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 9am to noon at 580 Fairview, Kendallville in honor of our 50 year milestone. There will be a food truck, (Not Just Fries), a bouncy house for kids, and interactive demonstrations from our programs.

Please join us as we celebrate 50 years in education and training.
