A press release may sound “old school”, but they are a way to formally announce something important or new (think milestone) about you, your business or organization. Three Keys To Writing A Great Press Release:
- Use a short, honest and attention-catching title (headline).
- Keep in mind that readers (and listeners) have short attention spans. Be interesting, direct and to the point. (Keep it no longer than a page and a half long, double-spaced).
- Answer the Five W’s: Who? What? Why? When? Where?
